Good Morning People!!!
Lenny hit the snooze button on his alarm clock and jumped out of bed. It was his first day as a welder at the local General Motors assembly plant and all he thought about all night was the minimum daily quota that had to be met each day at his assigned station and the new people he would meet. Would he get along with the other workers? Would he be able to keep up with the movement of the assembly line? These were a few of the things that haunted Lenny that night, but when he got to his station the next day, he did just fine. You see, instead of striving to make a bunch of new friends, he focused on welding a bunch of new parts, and by the end of the day his ability to hit his mark, caught the attention of the rest of the line workers. By the end of his first week Lenny made more than his share of friends.
Happy Motivational Monday my Weekday Warriors! And besides the motivation that only slippery ice can give you, I’ve got more motivating. Your KC metro area weather starts out just below freezing and only hits the mid 30’s by mid noon. Today’s topic is on ‘The Importance Of Your Target’.
As we travel throughout our daily schedules, we are often deterred due to things that are a lot less meaningful. Instead of focusing on hitting our targets, we allow our attention to wander off into left field and instead of landing in the spot where we should end up, we often end up off the mark. So listen up People. Instead of focusing on everything going on around you, try zeroing in on that one thing, because the more energy you put into pinpoint your target, the better changes you’ll have of hitting it. When you aim, don’t just aim in the direction of your target. Aim in the direction of the bullseye.
It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
