Good morning, people!
When I was just a toddler, I was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). This meant I was a super kid and needed multiple activities to keep my fast-moving mind entertained. As an adult, I’m operating on about 5-6 hours of sleep each night. Being awake for so many hours can help you actually get more done in a day, but when your body starts telling you to chill out and take extra time to recharge, you better listen or else. Like anything else that requires recharging, if you don’t, you may find yourself running out of juice.
Happy Throwback Thursday, my Weekday Warriors! Another beautiful fall day out there, y’all. All I can say is, I wish fall was always this nice. Expect your temps to start off in the upper 40s and reach an awesome high of 85! Today’s topic is on The Importance of Your Recharge.
There are so many things on the market known for giving you more energy, with coffee being one of the most popular. But nothing will ever take the place of real, genuine rest—you know, that thing most people do overnight.
Listen up, people: you wouldn’t let your phone die without recharging it, right? So why take the chance of not recharging yourself? Rest is important and helps ensure that you’re thinking and functioning at your best. If you’re like me and have a hard time sleeping at night, start practicing the art of napping. You see, it doesn’t matter when you take the time to rest, it just matters that you do. So the next time you’re feeling a little low on energy, go plug into your pillow and charge up. Low power might as well mean no power.
