Good Morning People!!
A few years ago I had the honors of reading a book written by Russell H. Connell entitled ‘Acres Of Diamonds’. The book was about an African farmer who sold his farm and liquidated all of his assets in order to fund an expedition in the pursuit for diamonds. Long story short, the farmer never found what he was searching for. He did lose everything he had searching though. With nowhere to turn, the man threw himself in a river and drowned. A short time afterward, the farmer who purchased the farm discovered a large, unusual stone in the creek that ran through the property. The stone was a large diamond. You see, the farmer sold his farm to someone else in order to go elsewhere for wealth not realizing that he already possessed the wealth he was seeking. The farm ended up being one of the riches and large’s diamond mines in the World.
Happy Monday my Weekday Warriors!
Back to the money like it ain’t nothin funny! Today was beautiful with temps starting out in the mid 50’s and reaching into the mid 70’s in KC today!! Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Your Own Grass’.
How many times have you looked at the life of someone else and said to yourself, “man I wish that was me?” “I wish my life was as good as theirs”, or “I wish I had all of the stuff, he or she has”. We do this not consciously knowing how green the grass really is on the other side. And some of us are willing to risk it all to find out. Well listen up People, be careful with what you go searching for. Just because the grass looks greener from your view doesn’t mean that the blades aren’t darker on the side you can’t see. Learn to develop the ground you already stand on because it is much easier to water that ground than travel
somewhere else just to find out that there is no water.
It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a
