Good Morning People!!

When I was a kid, one of my favorite people growing up was my Great Uncle Steve. He was my first real exposure to the world. Whenever he walked thru the door of my Granny’s house it normally meant that I would be going on a tour of Chicago’s finest coffee houses and diners. Everywhere we went, Uncle Steve would stop and talk. He talked to everyone and anyone, and for this, everywhere we went, everyone knew who he was. I remember sitting at the bar with him drinking Shirley Temples while he drank his mixed coffee/alcoholic beverages. He would flirt with the waitresses as they adorned over me. And even though I was under 5 years of age, I felt much older when I was with him. He has since past on, but I will never, ever forget the man who taught me about the importance of other people. Because of those moments, I am the person I am today. Thank you Great Uncle Steve.

Happy Taco Tuesday my Weekday Warriors! It’s going to be a beautiful day today!! Your temperatures start off in the upper 40’s and peaks out at almost 80 in the late afternoon. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Your Memories’.

Nothing stays the same. Because of this we are continuously experiencing moments that come and go. The people we meet, the places we go, and all of the things we do eventually pass us by. But what helps us retain each moment we experience is the memory’s that attach themselves to each and every experience. And since these moments never last, the memories that contain them are important to cherish and keep even if the memories aren’t the best. So listen up People, your memories are evidence that your life’s journey exists. They are the reminders of who you are, where you came from and the people that accompanied along the way. So create, enjoy and cherish them because when those people and moments are past you, those memories of it all will be there to help you remember it all.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me
