Good Morning People!!!
Candy sat at her same ole work desk, wearing the same uncomfortable headsets she’d wore for 8 consecutive years. The part time job she’d acquired to help fund her childhood aspirations and dreams had turned into her whole way of life. There was no fun now. At one point in her life, she wasn’t afraid to play in the snow, or dance in the rain, but somewhere during her aging process she’d forgotten how to live without understanding. Her inner child was no longer guiding her. Today things were about to change. Something deep down inside of her began to scream “Do it! Do it! Do it!” She soon found herself taking the rest of the afternoon off. 2 of her children, along with herself, were all soon headed for ‘Go Cart World’. This act alone created a chain reaction that added more episode like this to her life and 20 extra years onto her lifespan.
Happy Friday my Weekday Warriors! Ole Jack Frost took a quick tour around the world, but guess who’s back!! Expect those KC metro area temps to begin in the minuses and only reach the lower teens today. Your morning topic is on ‘The Importance Of Your Inner Child’.
Isn’t it funny how we exit high school and jump into the reality of things just to find out that not only are we embarking on a new life journey, but making a trade in from the child version for ourselves to the adult version? We all have to grow up, but to lose the child within us, is like trading in a life of adventure and education just to end up a functioning part in someone else’s machine. Listen up People. Stop allowing your adult version the power of taking all of the fun out of life. Learn to balance the existence of both, because life’s just not worth the experience if you can learn to play a little.
