The Importance Of Unlocking Your Potential

Good Morning People!!!

My first week attending high school was one to remember. For starters, I was now the unpopular ‘Freshman’. The school was the biggest I’d ever seen so I kept getting lost, which made me late for class several times throughout the week. But the biggest thing I remember happening was when I clicked the lock closed on the pad lock that was issued to me for gym class. I remember standing there in my gym uniform realizing that the combination code was in my front pants pocket inside of the locker. How was I going to dress out after gym or retrieve my books for class? This was embarrassing. Everything I needed to successfully complete my day was now locked away in a smelly gym locker. If I’d only taken the time to secure the code. If I’d only taken the time out to prepare.

Happy Taco Tuesday my Weekday Warriors! It’s looking like we are in for another gorgeous day today. And with the highs in the KC metro area setting at 63 degrees and the low starting us off at 35, I’d say it’s going to be another awesome one. Your topic for today is on, ‘The Importance Of Unlocking Your Potential’.

Many of us except the way we live because it’s all we’ve ever known. We have been conditioned underneath the  morals and values of our parents, teachers, family & friends. And because of this, we’ve restricted ourselves to all of there opinions. Well listen up People, if you want to unlock that potential you’ve got buried deep down inside of you, you are going to have to unlock yourselves from the views of the people around you. By doing so, you allow yourself the space required for you to hear yourself talking instead of everyone else. The first step to unlocking your potential is to first believe you have potential and the best way to believe it is to constantly remind yourself that you are the potential.
