Good Morning People!!!
A father, wanting to teach his young child a long term lesson, took the child out into the back yard of their home and planted an ancient bamboo sprout in the ground. Every so often the father and child would fertilize and water the plant. After 3 years of repeating this action and not seeing anything even break ground, the child started to doubt. None the less, the father continued bringing the child out and watering the plant. For almost (5) years nothing happened, but halfway through the 5th year the bamboo plant finally broke ground. The child (now 5 years older) was totally thrown off guard. But what really landed the lesson was the fact that it only took 6 weeks for that very same plant to reach a height of 90 ft tall.
Welcome back to Mindset Monday my Weekday Warriors. Where we set our mindsets to positivity for the rest of the week. Our temperatures for the day will be in the upper 30’s and the lower 30’s in the KC metro area. Todays topic is on ‘Trusting The Process’
Have you ever heard the ole saying, “Good things come to those that wait”? Or what about the one that goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. On our journeys to success, we tend to get discouraged whenever the results don't show up right away. When this happens we want to give up and quit. Well listen up People, when you start to feel like this I want you to do me a favor. Get super obsessed about what ever it is that you are doing, stay consistent with it no matter what and trust the process. By staying consistent and trusting in your process you not only learn the art of patience, you also learn that timing means everything.
It takes a lot of time in darkness to produce Bamboo trees, but once they finally break the ground they grow and grow with ease.
It’s ya boy Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful morning message. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
