Good Morning People!!!
Rosie loved the ocean. She loved everything about it, from its smell to every creature lurking underneath its waters. She grew up along the Emerald Coast of Destin, FL, so she spent most of her time experiencing its calm yet rough and rugged waters. On this particular day, she was out snorkeling along the beach alone when a dark figure came from out of nowhere. Before she knew it, she was being circled by what appeared to be a bull shark. Not wanting to stir the water around her, she slowly used her fins to create a barrier between her and the shark and slowly swam back towards the shore. The shark, uninterested, swam away, leaving Rosie with a tale to share with family and friends for life. Good thing she didn’t panic.
Happy Taco Tuesday, my Weekday Warriors! Today’s the day I swing on over to Wallaby’s Grill & Pub in Lenexa for some of those cheap and tasty tacos! Your KC metro area weather starts out cloudy in the mid-60s and tops off in the mid-80s around daybreak. Today’s topic is “The Importance of Those Troubled Waters.”
Don’t you just love swimming right into the middle of trouble? It happens at times, but when it does, how well do you handle it? These challenging times are the moments that teach us valuable lessons and build our character. So listen up, people! Avoiding difficulties may seem tempting, but facing them head-on is what truly strengthens us. Each obstacle overcome adds to our confidence and prepares us for future challenges. So the next time you find yourself in rough seas, remember that perseverance is key. Focus on the lessons within each struggle and keep pushing forward. Embrace the journey, learn from every experience, and you’ll emerge stronger and wiser. So keep on swimming because the last thing you want to do is tread for too long.
