Good Morning People!!!

A few weeks ago while waiting for my wife to clear surgery, I witnessed something that I don’t get to see often. A couple entered the waiting area with a little boy walking alongside them. He was pushing a stroller occupied by his baby sibling and about 50 lbs of other crap. The kid was giving it his all pushing the heavy stroller, but he wasn’t alone. His father was pushing the upper handle. What jolted my heart was the joy that escaped from the kids mouth when they made it to their seats. The kid, believing that he’d done it all on his own, turned to his father and said, “I did it all by myself daddy!”. His father looked down at him and instead of telling him the truth, he simply replied to him, “You sure did son. You sure did”.

It is Monday again my Weekday Warriors! Time to put on the ole armor and get back in the dog fight. Today will be a rainy one for the KC metro area. Your day starts off in the mid 50’s but races to 70 degrees by early afternoon. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of The Credit’.

Don’t you just love feeling accomplished? You know that feeling you get when you figure something out that no one around you could seem to figure out themselves? And even though you may have gotten just the smallest amount of assistance from someone other that yourself, the glory to you is all yours.. Well listen up people, there is nothing wrong with taking the credit for an accomplishment, but how much better do you think it would feel to someone else to also be giving the honors of sharing in the celebration. Never forget to give credit where credit is due, because when you pass on the credit you are helping influence others to do the same. So the next time you help someone figure something out, give ‘em a pat on the back and let ‘em know how you couldn’t have done it without them.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
