The Importance of the Company You Keep

Good Morning People!!

Chuck sat down at the table and started typing. It had been a year since he’d started writing the Coffee Cup Chuck messages in the morning, and even though no one really liked or shared his messages, Chuck kept writing. He knew he only needed to reach the right person. He felt like he was the only one out there trying to keep people positive, but when he accidentally ran across the BTBY family, he found out pretty fast that there was a whole community of people who had his very idea in mind—to help change the world in a positive way. Because of this fast-growing community, Chuck is now able to reach more people and do more good in the world. I guess the people you have around you really do make a difference.

Happy Throwback Thursday, my Weekday Warriors! There’s nothing in the world like the feeling of ice-cold A/C on a super hot summer day, and today will be the perfect day for it! Expect your KC metro area weather to start off in the upper 60s and climb into the upper 80s by early noon. Please stay hydrated today if you’re out and about. Your topic for today is "The Importance of the Company You Keep."

Jim Rohn once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Although this may not be 100% accurate, it couldn’t be much farther from the truth. You see, the people you choose to attach yourself to will either add value to your life or subtract from it. So listen up, people! Please choose these people wisely because the company you keep will ultimately lead you to the true life you seek. Place yourself around those who will help you get where you want to be in life, or you will end up staying exactly where you are.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day, and as always, stay positive, people! ☕️😎👍🏾
