Good Morning People!!!
Franklin had eaten lunch at the restaurant 10 times in the past month. His reason? Because they served excellent food. But also because of Cami. Cami was the 5’3” brunette who had served him the last 9 times he sat down at a table. The small talks they had were the joys of his week and were the reasons he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Today was the day he’d go out on a limb and ask Cami out on a date. As she walked away from a table just a space over from his, he asked the question, simple and quick: “Hey, Cami. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind hanging out with me sometime.” She stared at him for what seemed like an eternity, then told him to meet her at the local jazz museum at 6 o’clock that evening. Because Franklin decided to go for it that afternoon, he’s now engaged to the love of his life.
Happy Motivational Monday, my Weekday Warriors! Today’s message, I hope, will bring you enough encouragement to take more chances. Your KC metro area weather starts off in the low 70s, but by 2 PM, the burners are on high with a heat index warning of 100 degrees. Today’s topic is ‘The Importance of Taking the Leap.’
Why not go for it People? It’s easy to stay in your comfort zone, but real progress happens when you push yourself beyond it. Whether it’s starting a new project, pursuing a passion, or making a big life change, taking risks can lead to amazing opportunities and experiences. So listen up, people! Embrace the fear and uncertainty as part of the journey. The unknown, on the other side of your leap, may be the best thing waiting. So the next time you face a tough decision, remember that stepping out of your comfort zone is key. Take the leap, trust in yourself, and watch as new doors open and possibilities unfold.
It’s ya boy Coffee Cup Chuck! Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and, as always, stay positive, people! ☕️😎👍🏾
