Good Morning People!!!
I grew up in a household with only my mom and brothers. At one point it was 6 brothers with just my mom taking on the bunt of all of our behaviors. There was no dad so you could imaging the trials and tribulations we sent her through. When something happened, like something was found broken or missing, it was almost impossible to pin point who did it. This would not stop her from punishing the culprit though. She would line us all up and ask us who did it. Of course we would all deny any involvement and this is when she would give us a block of time to figure it all out. Someone would have to man up and tell the truth or else we all got punished. Someone had to confess or the innocent ones would also be presumed guilty.
Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors!! We are almost at the end of another week and you know what that means? Time to hit you with a blast from the past!! Today we have a high of only 34 and a low of 29 degrees in the KC metro area. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Taking The Credit For Your Mistakes’.
Face it, we all make mistakes. And since no one is perfect, we will most likely, make them in the future as well. What’s more important isn’t the actual mistake but how you recover from it. The best way to do this is to except your blame. Listen up People, pointing the finger at someone else isn’t solving your problem and definitely isn’t going to make the situation any better. Excepting fault, learning from it, and growing because of it is. Learn to man up to your mistake and stop deflecting the responsibility. You will never excel if you refuse to learn the lesson and you will never learn the lesson if you never take ownership of the fault.
Thank you for joining me again for another powerful morning message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
