The Importance Of Standing Your Ground

Good Morning People!!!

Lauren had been renting her 2-bedroom loft apartment for the past 6 years from Norman. She had been one of his most patient renters. You see, Norman wasn’t the best landlord. He was never late when it came time to collect the rent, but for some reason, when something needed to be repaired, he could never be reached. Rent was due again, and Lauren’s A/C unit had been out for the past 2 weeks. She had tried calling Norman several times, but as always, no answer, no call back, no solutions. So when he came around for the rent, Lauren was proud to announce to him that his rent payment had been paid into a rent escrow. In order for the funds to be released to him, he would first have to repair her A/C unit. Way to stand up for yourself, Lauren.

Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors! Today I just want to remind you all of the great opportunity I have in front of me to go and speak on stage in AFRICA! To help support this trip please check out my website and purchase a tshirt, candle, coffee mug or anything else you see that will put the positivity in you! Today’s KC metro area weather starts out in the mid 30’s and hits in the upper 50’s by mid noon. Today’s topic is on ‘The Importance Of Standing Your Ground’.

We sometimes allow others the opportunity to take advantage of us. We either open up because of our kindness, our naivety, or just because we simply don’t stand up for ourselves. Because of this, we tend to let people get away with some of the most disrespectful things. Well, listen up, People. When you let people get away with treating you any kind of way, you are teaching them what you are willing to accept. Learn to stand your ground by standing up for yourself, because if you don’t, people will only push you around. So the next time someone tries pushing you from where you stand, push back with your ten toes down in the ground and let them know what you stand for.

It’s Ya Boy Coffee Cup Chuck Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾
