The Importance Of Second Chances

Good Morning People!!!

A 17 year old sat at a traffic light waiting. Seconds later, as he pulled into the intersection, a semi driver runs the red light and,,, BOOM!! This was the last thing he heard. Instead of dying, he survived. First in a coma for 2 1/2 months, the doctors were skeptical. And when he finally awoke, he would have to learn how to perform all of his natural tasks again. He was told by doctors to get use to a wheel chair because he would never walk again. He refused to. Instead, he went into therapy like an athlete training for the Olympics. He’s not only walking, talking and joking like a stand up comedian, he’s now also on a mission to one day run again.  His message to the world is to ‘Make Every Second Count’. Great message coming from a man who was granted a 2nd chance at life. To hear his story just Google ‘Jeff Marconette Jr’.

Happy Taco Tuesday my Weekday Warriors! The day’s looking promising! And with beautiful weather coming your way, I’d say get out there and make it all count like ole Jeff! Expect a high of 67 degrees today in the KC metro area, with your day starting out in the low to mid 40’s. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Second Chances’.

Don’t you sometimes wish you could turn back the hands of ‘Time’ and do a retake? You know, go at things a second time because the first time didn’t do you the justice you were anticipating? We often mess up, or are the victims of someone else’s mess up and being able to have another opportunity to get another go at it, can be life changing. So, listen up People, everyone doesn’t get a second chance. If you are blessed enough to be granted one, you better make sure you go hard in the paint making sure that you make every second of it count. Learn the lesson, except the blessin, and keep it pressing. Because if you don’t, you may very well find yourself somewhere,,,,, stressin.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
