Rockii saw Donald pumping gas at the neighborhood fill up station. Her initial startup conversation was to congratulate him on all of his current accomplishment’s. But it really didn’t come out right. Her actual opener was this, “Congrats mister, you are the luckiest man I know”. Donald got this all of the time, but what she didn’t understand was none of the things that he’d done to change things for himself had anything to do with luck. Luck was for the sleepless dreamer. It was at the end of the rainbow and no one knew where the end of the rainbow was except that leprechaun no one has ever seen. Luck was non existing. What was existing was a thing called hard work. Which is what got Donald to where he was in his life.
Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors! It is that day again! And if you’ve been rocking with me for a minute now, you’d know that this is the day where I give you a blast from the past! So lace up those shoes and let’s things moving! Your topic for today is on, ‘The Importance Of Putting In The Work.
Maya Angelou once wrote, “Nothing will work, unless you do”. Straight to the point, yet delivered indeed. You see, you can wish, hope, wait and desire all you want, but unless you turn off that television set, drop that game controller, pause the scrolling of your TikTok account and get the hell off of that couch, you will continue wishing, hoping, waiting and desiring. Listen up People, accomplishing and achieving anything you want out of life requires you to move and take actions towards a desired result. It will require you to put in the work and that work may not always be easy to do, but for the things you must have, there will always be work to do in between. So get out there, get in the middle of it and go get lucky (putting in that hard work). 🙃
It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a
