The Importance of Practice

Good Morning People!!!

Phoebe bounced the basketball twice and took a shot from the free-throw line. The ball effortlessly slid through the basket without touching the metal rim. She had taken this shot thousands of times in her life, and not all of them were as precise as the last 15 she had made in the past 60 seconds.

She moved away from the free-throw line to the three-point line and repeated the process. Because Phoebe dedicated one hour each day to shooting baskets from different areas of the court, she not only became a pro shooter but also the star of her basketball team. Her practice only made her that much more professional.

Merry Christmas Eve, my Weekday Warriors! In just a short time, ole Saint Nick will be chomping down a few Christmas cookies and making his way back up the chimney. The better you sleep tonight, the better your day will be tomorrow. Your KC metro area weather starts out in the low 30s and reaches a high of 45 degrees today.

Your post-Christmas topic is: “The Importance of Practice.”

“Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence.” - Colin Powell.

In life, hitting your target isn’t about luck—it’s about relentless practice. Every missed shot teaches a lesson, every stumble builds resilience, and every setback fuels growth. The more you show up, the sharper your aim becomes. So listen up, people: Greatness doesn’t come from occasional effort; it comes from consistent dedication. Keep practicing, refining, and believing in your ability to succeed. Trust the process, and eventually, you’ll hit your mark. So the next time you feel like quitting, remember: mastery is just one more practice session away. Stay focused and keep going!

It’s Ya Boy Coffee Cup Chuck Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
