Good Morning People!!!
In 2010 I walked into work smiling as usual prepping myself for another day. Totally unaware of all of the frowns and unpleasant faces, I approached my foreman to receive my assignment for the day. He look at me and simply said, “I am so sorry about this, but corporate has notified me and I have to lay (6) of you off”. It was November so this couldn’t have come at a worse time. What was I going to do? My first reaction was to resort back to my younger self and call in a favor to an old friend who still sold drugs and pick up a sack for a month or so. It would only be temporary I said. I immediately erased the thought and called in an old friend at ‘Tradesman’ labor force. Christmas wasn’t the best that year, but I was able to spend it with my family.
Happy Turkey Eve my Weekday Warriors!! Time to prepare for another thankful weekend! Kansas City’s weathers looking pretty good with a low of 32 and a high of 57 degrees today. Your topic today is on ‘The Importance Of Making The Right Decision’.
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Have you ever been in a situation to where you had to make a decision and no matter what you chose you felt that you were damned if you decided one way and damned if you decided the other? Well join us all. You see, we all end up in this situation at some point or another. The important thing isn’t to base the decision on your emotions behind it, but to base it on what’s right. Listen up People, right is right and wrong is wrong. Making the right choice isn’t always going to bring you a good nights sleep but it will at least bring you the peace that comes along with doing the right thing. So when you encounter that crossroad make sure you remove the feelings that may steer you the wrong way even if it hurts you to do so. Make the right choice and stand behind it, even if no one else is willing to stand behind you.
