Good Morning People!!
Jonathan slipped his time card into the slot and listened as the mechanism inside the time clock punched him into his shift. Yesterday had been his first day on the job, and it was one blunder after another. But after each issue, Jonathan managed to learn something new. He didn’t allow the hiccups to deter his progress. He understood that in order to try something new, he would first have to learn something new, and with learning, there would sometimes be failure. Because of his ability to brace himself and rebound from his mistakes, Jonathan felt confident that his second day on the job would go just fine. And it did.
Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors! Today I’m going to need all of you to take a moment at the end of this post and comment if my posts are helpful to you in any way. Your feedback is so important to me. Your KC metro area starts off in the upper 40’s and reaches a high of only 60 degrees today. Your morning topic is on ‘The Importance Of Making Mistakes’
Our lives are like a pencil. For a pencil to become useful, it must first be sharpened. As it is used, it will require more sharpening, which would be quite painful to endure if it were a person. The more focused the tip becomes, the easier it is to read the story the pencil is writing. But what happens when a mistake is written into the story? Listen up people; mistakes will happen, and those very mistakes may become defining points in your life. Remember, there’s an eraser at the end of each pencil, ready to help you make the corrections needed to move forward in your story. Make the necessary corrections and keep going, because those small failures, in the end, are really parasails in the wind. Learn from your mistakes, and keep moving.
It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
