Good Morning People!!!
Keith lay in his bed, sobbing as if he had just lost his best friend. His grief came from the fact that he had screwed up yet again at another job. This time, he got himself fired for losing his cool with a customer. He knew he had an anger problem, yet he continued to refuse the help needed to control his temper. The incident before involved a fistfight with a fellow employee, and the time before that was a verbal assault on one of his day managers. Keith had to do something, and fast, before he got himself into serious trouble. Before his temper landed him in jail, he decided to enroll in anger management classes. Before long, Keith no longer botched his hustle but instead learned how to build it. If you’re going to stand in the middle of the road, make sure you’re not standing in your own way.
Happy Fun Friday, my Weekday Warriors! I am on a plane to Philly with a connecting flight to London, through Ethiopia, and on to Nairobi, Kenya, and I must say, I’m still in awe. Your KC metro area weather starts off in the low 70s and reaches up into the low 90s by daybreak. Today’s topic is “The Importance of Getting Out of Your Own Way.”
Getting out of your own way is crucial for personal and professional growth. Often, self-doubt and fear of failure can hinder progress more than external obstacles. So listen up, people. By recognizing and addressing these internal barriers, you open yourself up to new opportunities and achievements. Self-awareness and a positive mindset are key. So the next time you catch yourself hesitating, remember that your biggest roadblock might be your own mindset. Embrace confidence and take that step forward. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve when you stop holding yourself back.
