The Importance of Falling Back

Good Morning People!!!

Lorietta disconnected the call she’d been on for over an hour. The call was about an argument her oldest daughter and her daughter’s husband had been having. She was angry with him because of his lack of communication, while he was mad at her because of her unwillingness to physically and mentally connect with him. Both points were arguably sound, yet their stubbornness made way for a train wreck ready to happen. Not wanting to display any advantage to either side, Lorietta only listened. When she was finally done, she politely told her daughter that she had faith that she and her husband would eventually figure things out, excused herself from the call, and hung up the phone.

Happy Taco Tuesday, my Weekday Warriors! Although things around my way have been a little crowded and challenging, I am a child of God, so I’m built for the changes it may bring. Are you? Your KC metro area weather starts out in the low 60s but inches its way up into the mid-80s this afternoon. Today's topic is ‘The Importance of Falling Back.’

Sometimes, the most important step forward is knowing when to fall back. Taking a step back can give you the perspective and clarity needed to make better decisions. It's not about giving up; it's about regrouping and strategizing. So listen up, people: falling back is a strength, not a weakness. It allows you to reassess, recharge, and come back stronger. So the next time you feel overwhelmed, remember it's okay to take a break. Reflect on your goals, adjust your plans, and then dive back in with renewed energy and focus. Embrace the power of falling back to move forward.
