Good Morning People!!!
I had a dream last night that I was walking through the cemetery. From out of nowhere, a lady appeared. As she matched my stride, she spoke of a question. She asked me if I was ready yet. I responded in my head with, “Ready for what?” Still matching my stride she countered with, “Ready for death.” Looking at the lady now with a frown on my face, I responded with, “I don’t think so la…”, but before I could finish getting the words out, she interrupted me by saying “Start living then”. I looked away to break her gaze and when I looked back she was no longer there. I sat for a while pondering the statement. Then it dawned on me. I was actually doing both. From that moment on, I choose to live a little more than I did the other.
Happy Throwback Thursday my Weekday Warriors! Feels like a Saturday out there today! Perfect time to take off your shoes and get out there and ground yourself for a little bit. Get back to nature a while. Expect your high to hit the mid 80’s this afternoon in the KC metro area. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Dying’.
No one can live forever. There will come a time when everyone you know passes on from this place, and this is if you yourself don’t pass on first. So why is death so important? Maybe it’s because no one knows what comes afterwards. Maybe it’s because no one wants to let go of everything they know. Well listen up People. Your whole life has been one transition after another with one experience ending, as another one begins. Death teaches us to cherish those experiences. It also promises regret to those of us who don’t. You see death is our reminder that we are all on a time limit and that there is no time to be waisting on things that don’t bring our lives quality or value. So instead of spending so much time worrying about what’s in the afterlife, spend it on distancing yourself from the regret of not truly living in the current one.
