The Importance of Dealing With It

Good Morning People!!!

Brad rolled up the sleeve of his left arm to show his wife the spider bite he’d gotten while putting on an old jacket he’d grabbed out of the closet. The bite happened days ago, but he was starting to get a little concerned. In the beginning, it was just a bite. Now there was a dark pink lump surrounded by a lighter pink ring where the bite was. His wife told him to get it checked out by a doctor, and Brad agreed. Instead of immediately proceeding, he applied peroxide, a little A&D ointment, and a band-aid to the area and put off the visit. A week later, the bite became infected, and Brad was forced to finally visit the hospital. Because of his negligence, the infection started to spread, and to avoid further damage, Brad lost a part of himself that he could have kept if only he’d received the proper treatment.
