The Importance of Crawling Before You Walk

Good Morning People!!!

After focusing all his concentration on moving his right leg, Donald took one step and stopped. He repeated this process until he had made it halfway across the room. The car accident he’d been in had left him relearning many things he once did without thinking. Although his road to recovery would be a long one, both mentally and physically, he was up for the challenge. He had learned how to walk before. After seven months of therapy and believing he would regain his full ability to walk on his own, Donald was not only walking but also running.

Happy Freedom Friday, my Weekday Warriors! I hope you’re planning all the right things to do over the next few days, and hopefully, those plans add value to your life. We are headed to Branson! The KC metro area starts out in the mid-50s, with a high of only 77 degrees today. Your final topic for the week is “The Importance of Crawling Before You Walk.”

"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." — Robert Collier.

We often want to leap straight into our goals, forgetting that progress takes time. Just like a baby must crawl before they walk, we need to build a solid foundation before taking bigger steps. Rushing ahead without mastering the basics can lead to setbacks and missed opportunities for growth. So listen up, people—embrace the small steps and learn from each stage of the journey. Each little effort prepares you for greater challenges ahead. So the next time you feel eager to sprint, remember that crawling first leads to stronger strides later on.
