The Importance Of Being The Medicine

Good Morning People!!

Dave sat with his phone in his hand mindlessly scrolling Facebook. As he flipped his thumb in an upward position, he couldn’t help but notice all of the negative activity on his timeline. Not wanting to be affected by the energy, he simply started unfollowing anyone with any negative content. One person in particular seemed to always be posting this type of stuff and because of this, Dave decided to keep him and start posting positive content of his own. He posted a picture of a sunrise and followed it up with positive words. His friends negative comments continued, yet so did Dave’s positive ones. One day ten years later, Dave’s friend finally posted a positive post of his own. It was a picture of a sunrise.

Happy Throwback Thursday, my Weekday Warriors. The year is winding down and what better way to close it out than by leaving me a blue heart in the comments💙. Your KC metro area weather starts off just above freezing and only hits a high of 39 today. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Being The Medicine’.

In a world filled with so much negative activity, it can be pretty hard being positive. The longer you are exposed to all of it, the easier it is to rub off on you, and since the negative emotions of other people can be infectious, it is important to be the medication that helps others feel better. So listen up People, just because the rest of the world is sick doesn’t mean that you have to be. Learn how to be the person that heals others by spreading the stuff that heals people instead of hinders them. You see, it’s easy to turn a blind eye to all of the negativity going on around us, but to give a little hope and inspiration to someone sick with doubt is the best pill you can swallow.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful few rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
