The Importance of Being Natural

Good Morning People!!!

Simone had worn extension braids in her hair for the past 11 years, and looking at her newly styled Afro in the mirror was definitely something she was going to have to get used to. You see, she had decided to trust in her all-natural self and go raw for the next few years. This meant no makeup, no fake nails, no extra eyelashes, and most of all, no extensions. Her friends all thought she was out of her mind, but Simone, on the other hand, felt she was actually getting back into her mind. After a few weeks of wearing her new natural look, she developed an all-natural attitude that gave her an all-natural glow. By embracing her God-given features, Simone was able to influence some of her friends to do the same.

Happy Hump Day, Wednesday, my Weekday Warriors! Today marks anniversary #13 for my wife and me, so wish me luck on making it to the next one 🤞🏽. Your KC metro area weather starts off in the mid-50s and reaches a high of 78 degrees by early noon. Today’s topic is on “The Importance of Being Natural."

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." – Oscar Wilde. In a world full of filters and façades, authenticity is becoming a rare gem. Being natural isn't just about appearance; it's about embracing who you truly are. So listen up people, trying to be someone you're not by only holds you back from reaching your full potential. When you're genuine, you attract real opportunities, connections, and success. The solution? Stop trying to fit into someone else's mold and start valuing your uniqueness. So the next time someone tells you to change, remember that your authenticity is your superpower! Stay true to who you are.
