The Importance Of Being Ernest

Good Morning People!!!

Back in 7th grade, I had a wood/metal shop teacher who carried a cup of coffee everywhere he went.  His name was Mr Amburst. Mr. Armburst drunk coffee all day long. He drank so much coffee throughout the day that we all believed this was why he was such a happy and fun teacher to have. If he wasn’t whistling a tune or cracking jokes he was telling us a cool story. Mr. Armburst was also the after school wrestling coach. I happened to be in this class also. He was not the same coach as he was the teacher. As a coach, Mr Armburst was stern and got on our asses about every little thing. I guess there’s a time to be funny and a time to be no nonsense.

Happy Friday my Weekday Warriors! We made it through another one yaw!! Now time for some self education time right! And of course a little leisure time also (hint hint). Anyway, expect your high temp for today to reach 42 and the low to hit 26 in the KC metro area. Your topic for today is on ‘The Importance Of Being Ernest’.

Face it People, there is a time and place to play and there is a time and place to behave. We often get these two things mixed up and when this happens, problems often arise. For instance, you crack a joke during a formal meeting when no one is in the mood for jokes and instead of bringing humor to the conversation, you manage to only offend someone.  Listen up People, it is ok to play, joke and have your little fun moments, but learning to judge when and when not to bring your childhood self to the situation may very well protect you from damaging your precious reputation. Sometime it’s okay for the horses to play, but sometimes it’s best to put the horses away.

It’s ya boy, Coffee Cup Chuck. Thank you for joining me again for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
