Good Morning People!!!
Kendrick woke up on the right side of the bed and sat up with a smile on his face. Being a cancer survivor, he was happy to still be among the living. This happy attitude followed him all the way to work, but when he got there, Barbara, the office grouch, was waiting. Barbara was never happy about anything. She was so unhappy that she had the tendency to affect her coworkers, making many of them a little grumpy too. But not today, Barbara. You see, to avoid being affected by her negative behavior, Kendrick placed his wireless headphones in his ears and gracefully passed by Barbara, only saying his usual good morning. He was off to his station, continuing to gleam with happiness. I guess when you’re blessed to still be alive, it’s better to ignore negative behavior than to partake in it.
Happy Taco Tuesday, my Weekday Warriors! A perfect day for some nice, warm tacos, right? And since the day started out a little chilly, you might as well kick it off with a cup of hot coffee while you read the cup of the day. Protect your energy by distancing yourself from those who pull you down. Stay around those who encourage growth and positivity. So the next time someone tries to bring negativity into your life, politely step back and protect your peace.
