'The Importance of Answering the Question: What Are You Doing for Yourself?

Follow Good Morning People!!!

Travis was turning 46 in three days. Although he’d lived an interesting life, he wasn’t married, had no kids, and still wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with it. He’d spent most of his life jumping job to job during the day and living unscheduled at night. What was he going to do now? What could he do? He felt it was too late to start a career, too old to find a partner to share years with, and too uneducated to learn anything new. One day, while scrolling through social media, Travis stumbled across an inspiring post that told the story of Colonel Sanders and how, at 65, he was able to jumpstart a franchise business using only his $105 social security check. Using this as encouragement, Travis decided to open a travel agency. He now travels the world while he works.

Happy Throwback Thursday, my Weekday Warriors! What kind of person would I be if I didn’t give you the opportunity to go back in time and revisit a powerful message? Expect your KC metro area weather to start off cloudy, with temperatures starting in the upper 60s and reaching the upper 80s by daybreak. Your Throwback topic is on 'The Importance of Answering the Question: What Are You Doing for Yourself?'

There are 168 hours in a week. On average, we spend about 56 of those hours sleeping and an additional 40 working. This leaves us with 72 hours to actually plan and develop our lives. But what are you doing with those three full days each week? Listen up, people. Every morning you wake, you are being granted another chance to live out the opportunity of a lifetime. Do something with it that will leave you regret-free at the end of it all—something like developing yourself into something greater than you were the year before. Life is short, so the more time we procrastinate away, the more likely we are to miss out on our God-given purpose. So instead of waking up just to live, start waking up to fulfill.

It’s Ya Boy Coffee Cup Chuck Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
