The Importance Of Accolades

Good Morning People!!!

This past weekend, my wife and I, along with 2 of my BTBY sisters, all drove to Richmond, Virginia. We were to attending the ‘Spirit Of Excellance Awards Gala’ at the Victory Theatre in Midlotlian. The purpose of this trip was to support my speaking coach, who happened to be emceeing the event and later on in the evening I was set to entertain over dinner. Little did I know, there was something else set to take place during the awards ceremony and after hearing my favorite emcee call my name out to take the stage and receive a ‘Certificate Of Achievement’ award, I turned to look at my wife because I instantly new that I had just been part of the best betrayal ever.

Happy Hump Day my Weekday Warriors!! Has anyone else besides myself noticed that the last few days has felt more like Spring than Autumn? Well check this out! Your KC metro area weather starts out in the mid 40’s this morning and almost hits 70 degrees today!! It’s mid November yaw! Today’s topic is on ‘The Importance Of Accolades’.

There’s nothing in the world more rewarding than the feeling of appreciation. Knowing that there are people out there that appreciate who you are and what you do has a way of grounding you to a reality that says you really do exist and that feeling can make the difference in what you do next. So listen up People. There are people in your life that may not know how special they are. Why not take a moment out of time to put them on a pedestal and present them with a little bit of appreciation. By doing so, you may very well be enhance the goodness in their life. When you notice their goodness, it often helps them notice it also.

It’s Ya Boy Coffee Cup Chuck Thank you for joining me for another powerful message. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and as always, Stay Positive People☕️😎👍🏾!
